Chris Garland
Student Ministry Pastor
pastorchrisgarland [at] gmail.com

Chris has served here as Student Ministries Pastor since July 2015, after serving churches in both MD & PA. With a passion for teaching and training youth, Chris has worked in the field of youth ministry since volunteering in 1998 and has enjoyed helping young people grow in their faith ever since.  He received a Bachelors of Science in Bible (with an emphasis in Youth Ministry) and Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Lancaster Bible College and has served in full-time ministry since 2005.

Chris and his godly wife, Joy, have three children, Gabriel, Gideon and Faith.  Chris’ vision for his life is to: “Intentionally contact, teach and encourage students, to make a spiritual impact in their lives, while equipping them to do the same, in order to reach their friends for Christ.”

In his off time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, digging deep into Scripture and Christian apologetics, developing his and his boy’s personal survival skills, hiking, building things in his garage and working on computers.

Larry Kauffman
Worship Director
larkauffman [at] gmail.com

Larry has been on staff at Kish as worship director since July of 2016. He has been leading worship since he was in middle school in various settings including youth group, church services and as a student worship leader at Messiah College.  He graduated from Messiah in 2016, majoring in Communications with a minor in Business Administration.  He is also the owner of the Stewardship Group Insurance agency in Belleville and works there full time along with his wife Erin.

Larry and Erin were married in October of 2015 and were blessed to welcome their first child Henry into the world in 2018!  They live in Milroy and enjoy spending time as a family, going to Pittsburgh sporting events and the occasionally relaxing weekend at home.

Larry has a heart for worship and a desire to continue to explore what it means to “worship in spirit and truth”, not just on Sunday mornings, but in every avenue of our lives.  His hope is to inspire his church and community to seek after God’s heart and His call for them, and to truly discover how they can worship God with their whole lives.

The worship team has grown both in number and in relationship in the last 4 years and its been a blessing for them to be able not only to play music, but to worship together as they continue to become a close-knit support system that “does life together”.

Jodi Cram
Office Administrator
KishValleyGrace [at] gmail.com

Jodi has served as the Kish Administrative Assistant since January 2000.  Her 21+ years of experience have made her an invaluable part of our team.  She is usually the first face you see when you walk in the door and her love for the church and people is always evident.  When you call, it is usually her friendly voice you will hear on the other end of the phone and if you ever need to know church event details or whom to contact for something, Jodi is the one who knows.  She is active in volunteering at numerous levels within the church and loves to help out anywhere she can.

On her off time, she loves spending time with her husband, two adult children and her precious grandchildren.  Some of hobbies include photography and spend time with her husband, Keith, in the great outdoors kayaking, camping and hiking.  Keith and Jodi try to get out in their RV as often as possible.

Terry Knouse
Financial Secretary
kvgbfinance [at] gmail.com

Terry has worked at Kish for years and in an office setting her entire career. She’s the person you’ll find managing our finances and making sure we are running smoothly.  She does an excellent job helping us steward what God gives us.  Her great loves are her three children and two grandchildren (ages 2 & 8), and of course, her husband Scott (of 13 years), who she says is the most kind and helpful husband for whom anyone could ever hope.

Terry loves to read, hike and spend time with her large family.  Her and her husband both enjoy fostering dogs through an organization called PA Boxer Rescue. She really enjoys Holiday parties and the yearly Super Bowl party - where they seem to enjoy watching the commercials more than the game.

Her newest interest is the Love Reflected Ministry, where they reach out to both people they know and don't know to offer them some encouragement as they are processing a cancer diagnosis.  One goal of the ministry is to reach people who may not know God, and with this demonstration of love with a gift bag, they begin to ask questions that will lead them and hopefully their family to a relationship with Christ.
